Personal data we process
- Identity data: name and surname; where required for insurance transactions, national identity number and date of birth.
- Contact data: phone number, e-mail address, postal address, the company you represent.
- Transaction data: your quote and information requests, policy and cover details, claim file information, correspondence.
- Risk information you provide: equipment schedules, operating profile, headcount and similar details needed to structure cover.
- Security data: when you submit the form on our website, your IP address and the submission time are recorded.
Please do not send special categories of personal data (health information, criminal records and the like) through the website form. Where such data is genuinely required for an insurance transaction, we request it separately and through the proper channel.

- Acting as intermediary for insurance contracts, issuing and renewing policies
- Following up and coordinating claims

Legal grounds
We rely on the grounds set out in Article 5 of the KVKK: performance of a contract (Art. 5/2-c); compliance with a legal obligation (Art. 5/2-ç); establishment, exercise or protection of a right (Art. 5/2-e); our legitimate interests (Art. 5/2-f); and, where none of these apply, your explicit consent (Art. 5/1).
Transfers of personal data
- Insurance companies: to obtain quotations, issue policies and handle claims — inherent to the brokerage service.
- Authorised public authorities: where and to the extent required by legislation (including the Insurance and Private Pension Regulation and Supervision Authority, the Insurance Information and Monitoring Centre, the relevant bodies within TOBB, courts and enforcement offices).
- Our service providers: website hosting, e-mail and IT providers, accountants and legal advisers — limited to what the service requires.
Transfers abroad: our website uses Google Fonts, Google Maps and YouTube embeds provided by Google LLC. When this content is displayed, technical data such as your IP address may be transmitted to the provider's servers outside Turkey. See our Privacy and Cookie Policy for details.
How we collect your data
Through the contact and quote form on our website, e-mail correspondence, phone calls, face-to-face meetings and documents you provide — by partly automated and non-automated means.
Retention period
We keep your personal data for as long as the purpose of processing requires, taking into account the limitation and retention periods prescribed by applicable legislation (in particular insurance, commercial and tax legislation). At the end of those periods the data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
Your rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed; to request information if it has been; to learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used accordingly; to know the third parties to whom it is transferred at home or abroad; to request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data; to request erasure or destruction within the conditions of the law; to request that such actions be notified to third parties to whom the data was transferred; to object to a result against you produced solely by automated analysis; and to claim compensation for damage arising from unlawful processing.
How to exercise your rights
You may submit your request in writing, with a wet signature, to Esenşehir Mah. Nato Yolu Cad. No: 221, 34776 Ümraniye / İstanbul, or by e-mail from the address registered in our systems to info@fidancilarsigorta.com. Please include your name, contact details and a clear description of your request. We respond as soon as possible and within thirty days at the latest, free of charge; if the request entails an additional cost, the fee set by the Personal Data Protection Board may apply.
